We're a little over a month from the world premiere of the Grand Tour, Clarkson, Hammond, and May's new TV show that will be aired on Amazon Prime, and the reasons to be excited about this date keep piling up.
A few days ago we told you how the opening scene of the first episode is going to be the most expensive in TV history. That's the kind of megalomaniac things we'd expect from Clarkson, so no surprises there. It will also be in stark contrast with the opening scene of the last Top Gear season, the one that basically set the tone for the rest of the show.

But besides that, the Internet keeps throwing at us tidbits of video footage featuring the three, and we couldn't be happier. Seeing these guys together makes it very easy to understand why Top Gear had zero chances for immediate success following their departure. The BBC show needs to change its format dramatically if it wants to stand a chance. It needs to give the new hosts their own identities to prevent further comparisons with the trio.

Asking a new cast to do what these guys have been doing for years, and do it just as well, is unrealistic. These three clearly belong on the screen, and they belong there together. Yeah, sure, they mostly produce high school humor, but so what? High school was good. Everybody loved high school. We all want to be taken back to those times, and that's precisely what they're doing. It's why we keep coming back to them. They're three boys caught up in men's bodies. One that's tall and far, one that's short and skinny, and one that's... well, just James May.

Here you'll see them meet up with James Corden, the man you might know from Carpooling Karaoke or his TV show called The Late Late Night Show with James Corden. Luckily, the Grand Tour presenters aren't there to sing, but they have to answer a series of mostly simple questions while they also drive a Chevrolet Corvette around a track. Every wrong answer adds one second to their final time. It's time for the Grand Racing Quiz. Hope you have your laughing pants on.
