Citroen has a cool surprise for Chinese drivers as the company unveiled its new DS 5LS luxury sedan, announcing they will be making it available on the local market in late March 2014. The folks will be pleased to know that they’ll be getting one aggressive yet not too over-the-top Citroen with more room than the C4 L and some cool toys as well.
It will have quite the attitude, some sleek, liquid lines and a light chrome strip that runs the length of the car. The design is nice, but has nothing in common with the DS3, for example.

Also, it seems that company decided to have only a small Citroen lettering art the rear and none of their logos. It appears that they have taken a liking to the phrase “Simple is the new cool,” and we do too.

When it comes to the interior, you’ll be able to see that Citroen has taken its inspiration from the DS4. Unfortunately, there is only one picture available and we think it looks pretty good, the sedan incorporating the same watch-strap seats as the DS5. There's even wood trim for the doors and dash!

Power-wise, the vehicle will have a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine unit with up to 200hp. We know it’s not that much information but we’re pretty sure more is soon to come as the luxury sedan with its avant-garde body will slowly makes its way on to the Chinese market.
