The Citroen C4 Aircross will be officially launched by the French carmaker at the end of this month. The crossover that shares its platform with the Mitsubishi ASX will be their first model with 4x4 sold in Australia.
It looks like the engine range will be limited to a 2.0-liter with 150 horsepower, available with manual or CVT transmission. The crossover will be introduced with a choice of either two- or four-wheel drive. The AWD version also brings selectable drive modes: 2WD for fuel efficiency, 4WD that automatically distributes the torque between the front and rear axles, or lock mode, which increases the torque distribution to the rear wheels for more grip under severe conditions.
The C4 Aircross will offer some of the coolest French styling this side of a DS3, chunky chrome wheels and LED lights. Unfortunately, even though they used ‘air’ in the name, it doesn’t come with Citroen's legacy air suspension.
