Just this morning, we saw an old Citroen CX from the 80s being pushed into a parking spot while it was blocking traffic. It was an interesting looking car, like no other on the road both today and at the time, but the electrics had given way.
Hopefully, the C4 Aircross that will debut with the Geneva Motor Show next week will be a bit different, since the platform is actually from the Japanese Mitsubishi ASX. We’ve already know about this small crossover since last year, when the first photos were shown of it and the Peugeot 4008.

Now Citroen has released a big batch of photos ahead of Geneva and the impending market launch, and we’re going to give our opinion. The Peugeot 4008, which is basically the same car, has a much better looking interior. The central console on this model is positively boring, and how did they think an asymmetrical steering wheel would be a good thing.

Other than that, the body of the C4 Aircross looks positively excellent, even if it’s overdone in places.

The engine range will include two petrol, a 1.6 115PS and a 2.0L 150PS, plus two diesels, a 110PS and a 2.0L with 150PS.

autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
