The Chrysler Town and Country has been around for a few years now, and it doesn`t take an expert’s eye to see that it does look its age, as styling has moved on considerably since it was launched, and even back then, it couldn`t have been called a looker.
However, Chrysler have announced that they will be brining a special version of the minivan to the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show, dubbed the Town and Country S. It is meant to appeal to more ‘style conscious’ buyers, and it features a decent list of changes and improvements, which is just long enough to still keep it interesting.

Firstly, it gets a special black chrome grille, tinted headlights which feature black plastic insides accents - the exterior look is completed by a set of 17-inch alloys. Inside, it gets glossy black trim, part leather seats with contrasting stitching, as well as a Blu-Ray entertainment system with HDMI input, tow USB slots as well as two power outlets (12v and 115v).

Under the bonnet, it gets the same Pentastar V6 engine, with 283 hp and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque, and it drivers the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. It achieves 17 mpg in town and 25 mpg out on the highway. No official pricing information has been released so far.
