Following their 2013 SEMA preview in which they’ve announced no less than 20 Mopar-modified concept vehicles, Chrysler has released photos and details on four of them ahead of the event that’s about to kick in at the Las Vegas Convention Center next week.
The first concept that gets detailed is the Ram Sun Chaser. Developed as a “back to the beach” show truck, the vehicle is based on the 1500 Quad Cab model and sports a Vibrance Orange Blast exterior color, a new hood, a 2-inch lift kit, and 17-inch beadlock wheels. Other features include a Mopar cat-back exhaust, Flip-Up tailgate and a “makeshift shower kit”.
Chrysler has also unveiled the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver, which comes with an Auburn Pearl exterior and custom graphics, off-road tires, Katzkin leather seats, wireless smartphone charger and WiFi connectivity. The third concept is a Cheysler 300S painted a Phantom Black Tri-coat and fitted with a new front grille, SRT spoiler, lowered suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels and two-tone leather seats.
Next up is a Fiat 500L-based project - because, as we already know, Mopar is also offering accessories and modifying Fiats as well. Called Adventurer, the unique 500L wears a Bright White body paint with two-tone accent wheel flares and rockers in Satin Black for a “tough, rugged appearance”, Vibrance Bright Orange roof, roof rails and 18-inch bespoke wheels.
Besides the four vehicles that were teased earlier this month, Chrysler also released two photos of a modified Dodge Durango, but had nothing to say about it. The SUV comes with a white exterior color, black roof and hood with red accents, lowered suspension, and black wheels.
