The new Chrysler 300, along with its Lancia Thema derivative will not get an estate version (Touring, to use Chrysler language), as Chrysler-Lancia CEO Saad Chehab has confirmed to autocar.
Even though the wagon version of the 300C was popular on European markets, the vehicle registered poor sales in the US, as it is a known fact that Americans are not quite big fans of estates. However, the CEO explained that the company is working on an all-wheel-drive version of the Chryslerr 300C, which will use an AWD system based on that used by Chrysler and Jeep and feature an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
