Chrome Gold Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster: How to Ruin a Limited Edition

Believe it or not, there are people out there for whom the Aventador is not enough. This is the type of clientele targeted by Lamborghini's Superveloce Aventador. And with Sant'Agata Bolognese only building 500 units of the Aventador SV Coupe and just as many SV Roadster, the exclusivity factor is guaranteed.
However, some SV buyers still don't consider their Lambos as being special enough, which is why they turn to the wrap industry. Let's take the Superveloce Roadster in the video below, for instance.

These days, Gold wraps are out of fashion, so if you're aiming for this kind of aftermarket play, you'll have to go for something different. Well, the owner of this SV Roadster commissioned a Chrome Gold wrap for his Sant'Agata Bolognese supercar.

If you ask us, aside from a crash, this must be the easiest way to ruin the technical masterpiece that the Superveloce is. While we labeled it as a supercar above, perhaps we should've said "hypercar."

For one thing, the fixed-roof Aventador Superveloce has managed to lap the ring in under seven minutes. Aside from being an awesome achievement in itself, this places the machine just three seconds behind the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Returning to the look-at-me-NOW Superveloce Roadster we have here, the vehicle has recently been spotted around London, as you'll be able to notice in the piece of footage below. For now, the Lamborghini is still on Arab plates, but that may change soon.

Perhaps the saddest side of the story is that we're not dealing with an isolated case here. For instance, last year we showed you a Superveloce Coupe that received a Tron makeover. We can't even tell which of the two is worse, but in the end, it probably doesn't even matter. Oh well, at least wraps can be easily removed, so the issue is a temporary one.
