Second Lamborghini Veneno Listed for Sale, Speculation Now Milder

You know that feeling you get when, as the owner of a Lamborghini Veneno, you try to make an honest buck by playing the speculation card and another Veneno owner doing the same ruins your act by being less greedy than you?

If the intro above sounds complicated, it might be because... it describes a not-so-simple Lamborghini halo car situation. You see, Lamborghini has only sold three Veneno coupes, supposedly to die-hard Raging Bull aficionados with a rich Lambo-buying history, but two of those machines are already up for grabs.

It all started earlier this month, when a Veneno swiped us off our feet with its ad. The hypercar was listed at EUR9.98 million ($11.15 million) and appeared to be found in Japan. Given the white details of the vehicle, it wasn't hard to distinguish it from the other two Venenos the world had been gifted with. And whoever got bored of their uber-exclusive Lambo had put 840 km (522 miles) on the odo.

The listing mentioned above showed up on mobile.de, one of the most popular websites of its kind, but the big news is that the same source has now generated a second Veneno ad.

This time around, we're dealing with what appears to be a much better offer. While the red accents on the car are a matter of taste, the EUR7.1 million ($7.93 million) asking price and the 100 km (62 miles) shown on the odometer should recommend this as a best buy, right? Oh, and let's not forget this is the first car of the lot.

Before you jump to conclusions, keep in mind that the rumor mill talks about Sant'Agata Bolognese having offered the Veneno for about $4 million back in the day - the machine made its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, with the fourth example of the coupe having been kept in Lamborghini's collection.

The red-accent Veneno is not sold directly by its owner. Instead, we're dealing with a German company named Investment Cars (given the resale bonus, we'd say the name choice was a wise one), with the team mentioning it has multiple other ultra-rare contraptions for sale, from a Ferrari LaFerrari and a McLaren P1 to a McLaren F1 - since these guys seem to have a special way of penetrating automakers' customer selection program, we'll keep an eye on them to see if they get ahold of the new Ford GT once deliveries kick off next year.

Those of you wondering about the details of the third Veneno coupe that has been offered to us mortals will be reminded the vehicle has green details and is owned by US car collector Kris Singh.

Since Lamborghini came up with a Veneno Roadster later in 2013 and built nine units of the model, we're waiting for the moment when the open-air models will hit the speculation market. And when you think that many people saw the Veneno as an overly priced 740 hp (750 PS) Aventador with a questionable appearance...

P.S.: We've added the Veneno coupe's Geneva gallery below (right after the pair of images coming from the ad).
