By now you probably heard that Chris Harris buried the hatched with Ferrari and got a brand new F12 Berlinetta to toss around a private track a couple of days ago. His review of the car is already very popular on Youtube.
We watched him and had a couple of thoughts of our own on the matter. After all, we did test the F12 too and found a couple of interesting things ourselves. While Chris' tests are slowly becoming less and less focused on facts and more on entertainment (we get it man, slow-motion drifts get more audience) he did point something out that raised our interest.

Around the 8:30 minute mark he says the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta 'really is a 740 HP M3' and we couldn't agree more. We're guessing he meant it from an engaging and fun perspective as M3s are widely known for their cerebral feel and the really happy rear end.

Also, an M3 allows you to have fun whilst keeping control of the car with a minimum effort, a thing you'll easily find in the F12, even though it has no less than 740 HP and a lot of torque.

Bottom line, the Italian supercar is one of the best driving experiences (if not the best, we're still debating the Aventador comparison Chris made) you can possibly have at the moment and a comparison with an M3 from a veteran journalist is flattering.

Next year the M3 will come out only in Sedan form whilst the Coupe version will be replaced by the M4, both of them showing great prospects so far. We can't wait to see what the M division managed to do with the two brothers and their new 3-liter turbo engines.
