It seems 2015 has been, without any doubt, Chris Evans’ year. The already known British journalist has become more popular this year after he was chosen to host the Top Gear show, and now, his second-hand retail company reported a turnover of about $25,350,000.
Every car enthusiast knows about Evans and his love for cars. The 49-year-old radio presenter figured a way to trade second-hand vehicles three years ago, and it seems it works great for him.

Zimple Ltd. also keeps an eye on Evans’ writing activities and media services and has recorded a gross profit of almost $5.5 million.

The Radio 2 presenter has now more money to spend on his beloved cars because, as he recently stated, he’s a car-addict and he can’t help buying very expensive cars.

Evans had a very busy year, as he also launched Carfest, a summer festival for car fanatics. After the scandal that had the former presenter of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, as the main character and saw him and his other two colleagues move to Amazon, Chris Evans became one of the BBC’s top earners.

His company currently has more than $11 million worth of cars in its stock, including a couple of very expensive Ferraris such as the LaFerrari, a Daytona Spider, 250 GT Lusso, 275 GTB/C Alloy, and a Bentley Continental Fastback.

When it comes to his personal collection, things change a bit. He is well known for spending a large amount of money on cars. For example, in 2008, he spent almost $8,4 million on James Coburn’s Ferrari 250 GT California, had all his other Ferraris painted white, and then spent another $18 million on a very rare Ferrari 250 GTO, according to the Mirror.

His collection also includes a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle, a 1974 Ford Escort Mexico, a 1961 Ferrari TR61, a Porsche 944 Cabriolet, a 1964 Daimler V8 Vicarage Convertible, and many other 4-wheeled pieces of automotive art.
