Chris Evans Brings Seven Ferraris at Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed this year saw, among other guests, a special appearance that was not really a surprise, considering the fact that he hasn’t missed any of the previous editions. BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans, a.k.a Ginger Ferrarista, was one of the main attractions together with his Ferraris, which were brought along to raise money for the foundation BBC Children in Need . He managed to relieve a number of well-off people of ludicrous sums of money in order to drive a selection of magnificent Ferraris.

However, he has done it for a honorable cause, BBC Children in Need, speaking of amazing things the sum raised for what were 4 days of pleasure driving in amazing Ferraris is simply mind blowing. DJ Chris Evans and his Ferraris raised an amazing GBP1.1 million for the Children in Need, thanks to those who were generously enough to bid for one of the places in Chris’s Ferrari trip around South East England.

The culminating point of the festival was marked by the arrival of the Magnificent Seven Ferraris at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend, and their run up the Goodwood Hill. This year stars were the 599 GTO, the F40, 250 GT Lusso, 275GTB/4, 288GTO and 365GTC.

The Ferrari 250 GTO that Chris Evans bought last year wasn’t present at this Ferrari joyride. That is probably because it’s gone off on a very extensive polish (18 months worth), although we still think that Chris would leave it on the hands of an auction even if it was available.
