Here is another four-wheeled brick that found its way into Customland by morphing into a whole new type of vehicle.
The owner of this Scion xB thought to turn the five-seater into a compact pickup with the help of his trusty power hacksaw. However, the job implied more than just cutting part of the roof, the B and C pillars, as the man reinforced the new open shell with a new custom frame, made a panel for the back of the cabin, the flatbed and some other trimmings, like those nicely flared wheel arches.
But the exterior is just half of the project, as the new xB pickup got upgraded suspension, brakes and a massive V8 engine coupled to a 5-speed transmission, so this one must be the first rear-wheel-drive Scion xB as far as we know.
See it in action in the videos bellow.
