Chevy Volt Super Bowl Commercial: Aliens

Let’s just state for the record that we think the ads for the ‘biggest game’ should be like the presents you get for Christmas - you should only open them on the day and not weeks in advance. That said, Chevrolet’s weird and wonderful commercial for the Volt is about the best we’ve seen this year.
Either that, or we’re easily impressed by any commercial with four-handed creatures with tentacles hanging from their chins.

The idea here is that a man who looks like a bit of a techie walks out to his garage in the middle of the night to find a bunch of aliens going over his Chevy Volt, wowed by the fact that it takes both gas and electricity.

They seem harmless enough until they spot the wife and they pull a... aroused look. That would definitely concern us!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
