2012 Chevy Volt Commercial: Drive Thru

Nissan went all serious with their commercial for the Leaf when they took a cheap shot at the Chevrolet Volt for saying it’s electric but having a bas tank. But Chevy is clearly not taking it to heart, because they’ve just released another very funny commercial featuring two drive thru employes and the Volt.
One says it’s electric, the other contradicts him by saying it’s got a gas tank, to which the first one says the car has an “electric tank”. This is when we started chuckling a bit, but the owner of the Volt settles the dispute.

We can’t really hate on the Volt, even though sales figures have not been what the automaker expected. GM really did do its homework and is probably right in fitting the car with a gasoline-powered generator, as this deals with range anxiety. It might not sound all that green, but the confusion makes for funny commercials.
