The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban SUVs are scheduled to be unveiled at a special event in New York City on September 12, the automaker announced via its Facebook page.
No actual details have been released, but the new SUVs are expected to sport design cues seen on the recently introduced 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, especially the front end. The vehicles will most likely be powered by GM’s 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 and 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 that are rated at 355 HP and 420 HP respectively.
The interior should be more luxurious and feature high quality materials and updated technology. Stick around for more info as the two SUVs lose their wraps in a little more than a week.
In other related news, GM will go back to New York City on October 7 to unveil the next-generation Cadillac Escalade.
