Getting a flat tire while driving on the freeway isn't that unusual these day. If you like to drive in the slow lane, you should be prepared for an imminent puncture because the side of the road is chuck-full of rusty nails, torn beer cans and other pointy objects.
If you have the misfortune to get a puncture at freeway speeds, the sluggish steering and acceleration feel are the telltale signs that your tire is losing air. In case of a blowout, you should hear an obvious cartoonish "kaboom" sound.
Now cue the guy you can see in the video below. If he had a blowout, he should've definitely heard the explosion, unless his radio was turned all the way up to 11 or something.
Look more closely and observe how there's no rim whatsoever on the front left corner of his Mustang. It seems that a blowout is out of the question by this stage of analysis. We got a sneaking suspicion he took off in his car without that wheel, believing the brake disc will suffice for grip, steering and braking power.
However, the funniest thing is that you can see a pickup truck with a bed full of tires next to the three-wheel Ford Mustang at the beginning of the video.
