The Blue Oval company has kept itself pretty occupied these first few weeks of 2024. However, they seem fixated on just a couple of major regions.
For example, at home in America they just unleashed the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator mid-size crossover SUVs. They’re both great but one has to wonder, do you really need to spend a truckload of money on the ritzy Aviator when the sporty Explorer ST might be just as good at a much lower starting MSRP?

Anyway, over in Europe they’re also trying to bring sporty-focused customers into the family with the arrival of the detuned Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse with less ponies than in America. Meanwhile, if you want a lot more space and the option to carry a truck’s real load, together with MS-RT the brand also announced the fresh Transit Custom MS-RT and Ranger MS-RT as a sporty trackside van and feisty street pickup. But what about places like China, the rest of Asia, and Australia plus New Zealand? Nope, nothing new for them, sadly.

No worries, as the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is always just around the corner ready to speculate any OEM omissions. For example, Nikita Chuicko, the virtual artist better known as kelsonik on social media, thinks now is the right CGI time to work on the Ford Everest - all over again. Luckily, we don’t need to wonder why the focus on the Everest – the mid-size body-on-frame SUV is Ranger’s sibling for the Asia-Pacific region.

As such, given the Ranger MS-RT apparition in Europe, it is no surprise that this pixel master wanted to revisit the third-generation Everest and give it a sporty makeover. The unofficial changes are subtle but also pretty impactful – the CGI expert redesigned the front bumper without the fog lights but with more emphasis on aerodynamic qualities, integrated the radiator grille with the fancy C-shaped headlights a lot better than the OEM designers, lowered the suspension setup, and also gave the SUV a set of massive black aftermarket wheels.

Frankly, while this is completely wishful thinking, we cannot help but wonder – for the umpteenth time – how come Ford is denying its American customers the option to get an Everest on the driveway. Yes, we know about the Ford Bronco being the tough off-roader related to the latest Ranger pickup truck. But now this independent author has found the perfect way to avoid clashing with the SUV – he made it sportier and cooler-looking than Ford’s old and boring Edge model! Now, imagine this Everest came to America looking like this and sporting the Ranger Raptor and Bronco Raptor twin-turbo V6 under the hood – that would be a treat, right?
