While we're still a long way from the snowball fights in "South Park: Snow Day" that's coming out on March 26, the holidays are already here in Grand Theft Auto Online. But instead of the dreaded yellow snowballs made by Cartman, Rockstar is handing out snowball launchers, awesome cars, and tons more gifts.
You get the launcher only if you log in between December 21 and 27. Just be careful when you join the snowball fight sessions. While you get double GTA$ and RP through January 3, it's a one-hit-kill endeavor with those things. Aside from the Snowball Launcher, you will unlock the Green Xmas Tree Hat, White Xmas Reindeer Hat, Candy Cane Weapon, and Green Reindeer Beer Hat by simply logging in.

Southern San Andreas is now the home of snow-filled skies, Snowball Fights, and appropriately themed festivities. The Yeti also lives there, so that's a major plus for the citizens of Los Santos.

Oh, and while you're there, make sure to find the Happy Holidays Hauler. He will be giving presents like the all-time favorite Christmas sweater, or things that actually matter, like GTA$, RP, ammo, and snacks.

Recently, Rockstar introduced the uber-awesome Chop Shop update, where a ton of cars were set loose in the world of GTA Online. Now, you can take that a step further and invest in the new Salvage Yard while taking part in the rotational Salvage Yard Robberies.

When you partake in these winter holiday activities, you'll be rewarded with the Green Xmas Tree Hat, White Xmas Reindeer Hat, and a bunch more stuff. Not to mention the coveted Snowman Outfit and Gooch Mask from last year.

Aside from the Double Rewards from the new Drift Race, the triple GTA$, and RP, you can also score a Bravado Dorado inspired by the real-life Dodge Durango. You can get it from Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and it's on display at the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom.

Now, if you really want to feel the holiday cheer, then enter Entourage (Festive Remix), an extraction-type mission where a group of Elves has to defend ol' St. Nick from the evil Krampuses set loose upon the world. If you survive for five matches in Adversary Mode, you will get a bunch of cool stuff like the Special Carbine or the Heavy Sniper skins.

For the best winter experience, you have to embark on the new Yeti Hunt by scouting for clues like blood or pieces of torn clothing. The event lasts until January 3, and if you defeat him, you unlock the sought-after Yet Outfit.

New Year's Eve is coming up, so naturally, Rockstar thought ahead and included more free stuff like the New Year Hats and Glasses, provided you log in between December 28 and January 3, 2024.

What they haven't included in 2024 is GTA VI, which is supposed to come out in 2025. That's if no delays will ensue in the meantime.
