Car Thief Gets Stuck in the Car’s Window

Teenager car thieves seem to be the most probable to be caught in unusual situations. Following the case of the young car thief that soiled himself after being caught, the latest attempt to steal of a 17-year-old teenager can also be classified as a total failure, after he got his arm stuck in the window of the targeted car.

The incident happened on Tuesday, August 13, around 1:00 am, when residents of Barnsley, UK, were waken up by the ‘let me out’ screams of the young thief. They immediately called the police and, according to telegraph.co.uk, when the officers got the scene, they found the teenager trapped on the car roof with his left hand stuck between the driver's door and the bodywork.

"It's an old car and he had managed to get his fingers in the door and prise it open. The kid must have been laid on top and got his arm in to pull up the button. When we heard a noise I went to the window and then outside. I said to him: 'What are you doing with your arm in my car?' He replied: 'It wasn't me.' He was shouting 'Let me out' and I said 'I am not.',”
Janet Hooley, the car’s owner, was quoted as saying by the aforementioned source.

The car was a Vauxhall Cavalier in quite a bad shape, which made the police think the teenager bent the door to get his arm in and then slipped, which caused the door to slam shut. The 17-year-old admitted trying to steal the car and was sent to court, where he is scheduled to appear later this month.
