Cadillac Marks New European Start in Paris

Cadillac announced that it will bring multiple 2011 models to the Paris Auto Show to mark a fresh start on the European market.

The company will showcase the CTS Coupe, CTS Sport Wagon, CTS-V Sedan, CTS-V Coupe SRX Crossover and the Escalade Hybrid. The automotive producer will debut its European operations with a fresh dealer network, which includes around 40 dealers in key European markets. In addition to that, the company has created a pan-European network that will handle its maintenance and servicing operations.

The new CTS-V Coupe, which comes with 564 hp, will make its European debut in Paris. The vehicle will go on sale in Europe next year. The 2011 CTS Sport Wagon is already available in Europe. The car uses direct injected 3.0l and 3.6l V6 petrol units. The SRX crossover comes with a new design and features a 3.0 liter V6 direct injection powerplant. Cadillac claims that the fuel economy of the vehicle is comparable to that offered by a mid-size family car.

We have made huge progress since we announced the new start of Cadillac activities in Europe at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year,” said Wolfgang Schubert, Managing Director of Cadillac Europe, “and we are proud to present a strong product line up here in Paris, documenting that Cadillac is here to stay as a serious competitor in the premium market.
