We don’t know how much longer Bugatti is going to stick with the Veyron before Ferrari or McLaren manage to make something faster. However, it seems like the company has shifted its focus towards giving customers more interesting version of the car.
Based on their latest car, the 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, the planets fastest convertible, they launched a special edition of just one at this weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey.

The color combination of Bianco and New Light Blue is borrowed from a car from Bugatti’s rich history, the 1928 Type 37A. The top is finished in white, and the bottom in blue, together with the windows in the wheel spokes and the rear spoiler.

The interior is finished in Cognac leather with stitching and ‘Vitesse’ logos in light blue.

Just like you’d expect, all this customization is not cheap, reportedly costing €1.74 million, or $2.15 million at todays exchange rates.
