Golf carts are always a good source of laughs for the guys at our office, but somebody with passion and money took them quite seriously. Bubba Watson look at the limitations of these vehicles and saw there was a lot of room for improvement.
Hovercraft technology was found to be ideal for the golf course, because these craft can ride over water and glide over the grass, leaving no tire tracks. And so, various element from the conventional golf cart were integrated into an existing hovercraft platform.

Right now, the vehicle is in early prototype stages, but looks very promising. For those of you who don't know this already, hovercraft use giant fans to propel themselves forward and create a cushion of air underneath themselves. They are trick to drive, even on flat surfaces, and as far as we know are a lot more expensive than you typical $5,000 Japanese-built golf car.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
