Italian brake supplier Brembo recently issued a press release that lets us all know the company now has over 100,000 fans on Facebook. With the increasing influence gathered by the social media networks, car companies are placing more and more focus on this and are aiming to attract more customers by showing them the cool side of their business.
Brembo is well-known for its performance stopping devices, but this doesn’t mean that the company misses the oportunity to expand its reach.

“Brembo has achieved success right across the web,” the company said. “News items and posts are published every day in at least 7 different languages, and the reaction from fans is unfailingly positive, with “likes” and comments indicating their appreciation for the information they find, and confirming the popularity of Brembo products.”

However, Brembo claims that the milestone offers it an “absolute leader status” among car suppliers. However, we think they’re referring to OEM suppliers, since the aftermarket world has beaten Brembo’s number by quite a margin.
