Branew Messes with the GT-R's Perfection

Don't anyone call Nissan, please, because there's going to be war! When they released their highly anticipated and almost mythological GT-R, Nissan touted it as the best aerodynamic vehicle ever built. In fact, for lack of a better word, they called it aerodynamically perfect. So now that Japanese over at Branew decided to pimp the car, there will (probably) be blood.

Branew didn't push the envelope and kept the changes to a minimum, mostly visual. While they are enough to break your GT-R from the norm, they are also quite kitschy as they don't fit the car that well.

While the front spoiler retains most of the stock look and isn't that visually offensive, it's on the rear lip spoiler that things get complicated. With a set of mock-air vents and a new three-pipe exhaust system right smack in the center, this body kit makes the car look like it's pulling it's skirt up.

Thank God that they kept the trunk spoiler to a minimum and didn't go for the carbon look. Still, that embedded center stop light makes it look like it was nicked off another car.

Sitting on its brand new 23-inch wheels, which explain why the car needed a body kit – to seem lower, the GT-R looks like it's a short kid sitting on a big bike, feet hanging in the air. We hope they tuned the suspension and the shocks, otherwise the handling is shot to hell.

This monster will be officially unveiled at the SEMA show, but we hope it will be well away from the Nissan stand otherwise there's gonna be some brawlin' going on. The Japanese made it very clear they liked this car very much, considering the fact that even doing donuts in this car voids the warranty.
