The guys at Brabus just couldn’t help themselves and are now offering the components used to create the one-off Vanish project to the “general public”.

Customers who consider that the Mercedes SL AMG Black Series is not powerful enough receive two special exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings, high spec turbocharges, four large intercoolers, a stainless steel exhaust system, which features free-flow cats and an ECU remap.

All these goodies allow the engine on the T65 RS (the project’s name) to deliver 800 hp at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) available starting from 2,100 rpm. However, the torque is electronically limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

All that muscle allows the 1,795 kg (3,597 lbs) beast to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 9.8 seconds. The vehicle is expected to reach a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (206 mph), but is electronically limited to 320 km/h (200 mph) due to “tire safety reasons”.

The T65 RS’s interior is highly customizable and therefore can be tailored to suit each owner’s tastes.

The BRABUS upholstery shop creates a special sporty and luxurious interior to customers’ exact specifications, down to the last detail. The power comfort seats offer excellent lateral support without constricting the occupants. In this true BRABUS one-off car, made to the specifications of a longtime customer, they are upholstered in an exclusive combination of especially soft and breathable black leather and Alcantara. The same materials are found on door panels, headliner and dashboard. Precision-sewn red seams add striking highlights to all interior elements,” stated the press release.
