BMW shows the all-new Cruise Bike Junior, a nifty off-road two-wheeler... with no engine. The engine is missing only because we're looking at an off-road bicycle made by BMW for kids aged 6 to 9.
Obviously being the little brother of the classy BMW Cruise Bike, the Junior sports the same impeccable craftsmanship to be met throughout every product displaying the Bavarian badge and has already been distinguished with the Red Dot award for attention-grabbing design.
The frame is made from aluminium for exceptional strength and small weight, and has individually adjustable brake levers. The front end comes with a telescopic fork, and thanks to the off-road rims, it will provide dependable performance on the trails.
The BMW Cruise Bike Junior also sports a 6-speed Shimano gearing with grip-shift lever. Already available in black or white through the BMW Shop for €429 ($559).
