In the recent poll auto motor und sport held for its annual “Best Car of the Year” award, the readers were asked to also rate the biggest brands in the country on their image. Apparently, BMW won this category too.
With 84% percent approval, the Bavarians distanced themselves from the runner-ups, Audi, that only got 79 percent. According to the results, the extended model range and the innovations the Munich-based company is pushing, make them a public favorite.
Just behind Audi, Porsche completed the podium with 78 percent (up 4 points), ahead of Mercedes-Benz with 74 percent (up 3 points) and Volkswagen with 72 percent.
On the other hand, BMW lost 3 percentage points this year, compared to the 87% it got in 2013 in the same poll. Hopefully, things will go better in 2014.
