The beginning of a new year usually brings along some awards from various publications around the world. This year was no exception and British magazine, WhatCar? just published the “WhatCar? Car of the Year 2014” results.
In the green car category, the i3 set itself apart from the rest of the pack, winning the coveted distinction. According to their website, the i3 won because “[it] brings more than just a premium offering to the mainstream electric car scene.”
Furthermore, the little city car managed to defeat other notable candidates like the Renault Zoe and recently introduced in Europe, Tesla Model S.
The Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi Acenta 2WD was named 2014 Car of the Year, at the ceremony that took place last night, in London.
