This year turns out to be a great one for our favorite manufacturer. After posting the sales numbers for July in the US, it's time to take a look at how BMW vehicles sold in July at a Global scale.
Not too bad! Actually, the BMW Group managed to post the all-time high numbers for July this year. With a total of 152,349 vehicles delivered worldwide, BMW recorded an increase of 12.3% over the same month last year.

Worldwide sales year-to-date also reached an all-time high with 1,106,876 vehicles sold, an increase of 6.8% over the same period in 2012 (1,036,179).

“Our July sales result has given us an excellent start to the second half of the year. We aim to maintain the momentum in the next months and our focus remains on a global balance of sales," said Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management.

"We continue to target sales volume growth for the full year and hence a new all-time high for worldwide sales. Our vehicle line-up is very strong and we are confident that further new models such as the BMW 4 Series Coupé and the new BMW X5 will also be a success when they are introduced later this year,” he then added.

Overall, BMW brand vehicles sold increased by 13.5% and the F30 3 Series registered the biggest rise, reaching 39,799 units, a 41.6% increase compared to last year's 28,116.

The X1 crossover was also popular, request growing by 12.6 percent to 11,732 compared to last year's 10,423. As for the 3 Series GT, a model that was just released, it did very well selling 2,200 units.
