Even though the 2 Series was officially unveiled a few weeks ago, BMW is renowned for testing its cars in different parts of the world, to make sure their products handle the climate conditions perfectly.
For the Chinese market some things are more important than others, like space, for example. The Asian country is well known for its preferences in this department, more space for the passengers always being welcomed, as is tradition, in a sign of respect.
The 2 Series might not appeal to those prone to respect every single tradition out there, but is more likely to be bought by all the rich youngsters. No matter who’s buying it though, the 2er will perform perfectly in China.
That’s because the Germans are still testing it and, under heavy camouflage. Whilst the camouflage doesn’t really make sense, the testing does, as the Chinese Mega-cities might bring about some never before thought possible problems that the engineers will surely want to fix before the cars hit the dealerships, in 2014.
