The BMW 4 Series Convertible sets out to write a whole new chapter in BMW's history, just like its Coupe brother before it. Even though the two cars were released a couple of months apart, they were both designed by the same man: Domagoj Dukec.
The Croatian is the Head of BMW's Exterior Design at the moment and overlooked the creation of the two cars that are going to replace two legendary vehicles in the company's history: the 3 Series Coupe and Convertible.

The new Convertible from BMW keeps the hard-top from the E93 3 Series and add a couple of new touches to the mix. The overall design of the car is similar to the 4 Series Coupe, being lower, wider and longer than its predecessor.

Furthermore, for the first time, the car is fitted with neck warmers, allowing you to cruise with the top down even when the weather isn't too warm out. Luxury and agility are the best words to describe this car's overall looks, going from the cabin out or the other way around.

At first, only 3 models will be available for the Convertible: the 428i, 435i and 420d. The petrol units will travel to the US whilst the diesel will be available in Europe and other countries. Expect to see the new 4er Cabrio in dealerships somewhere in the Spring of 2014.
