The summer is almost over but BMW is still testing its upcoming model in the 4 Series range, the Cabriolet. Just like it's predecessors and any other BMW in the company's history, this one is subjected to widespread testing also.
And since the car has to be tested in all environments, including city streets, our spy photographers caught up to it, this time with the roof down. Just like with its E93 predecessor, the new F33 model will feature the same hard-top design.

However, since the 4er's platform is wider and lower, so will the Cabriolet model, compared to the car it replaces. Other than the comparison with the 3 Series Convertible, the spied car shares almost every design cue with the Coupe.

The only noticeable differences will probably be found at the back, around the boot lid and the taillights, therefore the heavy camouflage around those specific areas. As for the engines, they will probably be the same as the ones found on the Coupe, revolving around 2 and 3 liter turbocharged petrol and diesel units.
