Waiting for BMW's new 4 Series models is definitely torturing us and the whole BMW community. Ever since the first rumor about replacing the Coupe and Convertible 3er with a completely new Series hit the web, everyone started looking for hints on how it will look. Today's spyshots take us a step closer to absolution.
All the bad karma heading towards BMW for not allowing us to see the new models in the 4 Series line-up, will soon be forgotten as they will be unveiled somewhere around July this year.

We already have some idea of how the new 4er will look like after witnessing the Concept Car at Detroit and seeing some pictures of the new convertible testing in winter conditions in Sweden. What's new here is that this time, despite the bone-chilling weather in Arjeplog, the drivers decided to take the roof down and go for a joy ride (that will probably give them pneumonia).

Unfortunately the photos don't show too much of the interior of the 4er but we can at least get a sense of how the car will look like with the top down. The rear looks a bit buffed, compared to the outgoing E93 3 Series, which appeared to be a bit sleeker and smaller towards the back. Other than that, the 4 Series Convertible stays true to the overall look of the new design from BMW.

The new 4 Series Convertible is expected to be released in just 2 models for starters: the 435i and 428i. They will probably be powered by the same 3-liter and 2-liter turbocharged engines, currently found on the 335i and 328i.
