Ferrari only uses natural aspiration for its engines nowadays, thanks to the linearity, refinement and sound offered by this, but throughout its history this hasn’t always been the case. One of the first examples that come to our minds when mentioning a turbocharged Prancing Horse is the infamous F40, a vehicle that likes to eat everything that stands in its way.
We’ll only remind you this: 3.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 478 hp, all in a package that only weighed 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs). And when people think about the F40, the red color is the one they mention. However, we’d take our in black if we could choose and we’ve brought you a video that shows why.
The adjacent clip brings us a black F40 Le Mans (the racing incarnation of the car). Just read what Youtube user Marchetinno, who posted the clip, has to say about meeting the monster: “This is a truly awesome spot on the road, a black Ferrari F40 LM (Le Mans) driving around Monte Carlo! I apologize for the shakiness but I was really surprised to see it!”
