The Best Friends Animal Society is the charitable partner for MINI USA for this year’s MINI Takes The States, the biggest official MINI owners road rally.
As is tradition, every year the selected charitable partner will receive a portion of the proceeds from the registration fees, to use as they please in their hard work with the communities around the US.
This year, Best Friends will take up the challenge to make even bigger changes around the country in their endeavor to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters. MINI just couldn’t stand by since their mascot is, after all, a dog.
“The MINI community is very pet-friendly so we are proud to partner with Best Friends Animal Society who runs the nation’s largest Sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals,” said David Duncan, Vice President MINI of the Americas.
“Over the years we’ve seen many four-legged co-pilots on MINI TAKES THE STATES so this partnership is a natural for both our organization and the community,” he added.
