It's official, MINI USA just announced that the 2014 MINI Takes the States Rally will kick off on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in San Francisco and will see participants traveling over 18 states and 15 cities in 14 days, to reach Boston.
It will most definitely be a NOT NORMAL rally for all the MINI owners and enthusiasts in the US. Next year's edition will mark the 5th time the MTTS takes place and thousands of people are expected to join the club this time.
"MTTS is a unique motoring experience and a celebration of the MINI community that everyone, including myself, eagerly anticipates. The most enjoyable part of MTTS is the opportunity to personally engage with our owner community and their families out on the open road and in cities across the U.S. ,” said Jim McDowell, Vice President MINI USA.
The cross-country trip will take the MINIs from San Francisco through the South, Midwest and Northeast in the search for the last destination, Boston. The cities visited in this endeavor will include Reno, NV, Dallas, TX, Memphis, TN, St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL and Cleveland, OH.
