Since the history books can be a bit boring sometimes, contemporary artist Paul Karslake has decided to compress the most important things in British military history on the bodywork of a Bentley. Thus, the Bentley Mulsanne S art car was born.
Paul Karslake FRSA, which is best known for his representation of figures like Audrey Hepburn, Keith Richards and the Kray twins, chose a 1990 Mulsanne S as a canvas.

Using and airbrush, the artist has taken the game to a painstaking detail level. The boot displays Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whilst the boot shows Sir Winston Churchill, the Battle of Britain and the Falklands War.

What’s more, offside rear pillar shows The Duke of Wellington with scenes of the Battle of Waterloo painted on the off-side rear wings. As for the nearside rear pillar, this offers a portrait of Admiral Nelson, as well as scenes of the Battle of Trafalgar.

The entire roof is used to portray rendering of the Union flag with a WWII Lancaster bomber flying over it. Take a closer look at this Bentley and you’ll notice the front wings displaying scenes from WWI. Paul Karslake’s signature sits nicely on the door mirrors.

This Bentley art car is set to be auctioned at Historics at Brooklands winter auction, which takes place on Saturday, November 30.
