The ultra-luxury British automaker showcases a special Bentayga luxury crossover SUV, hand-painted by architectural artist Stephen Wiltshire, to include no less than 29 different landmarks from all over the world and representative people.
Just recently, Bentley updated its best-selling second-generation Bentayga ultra-luxury crossover SUV with a suite of new features – Bentayga S and Azure models now have standard all-wheel-steering, rear seats with Postural Adjust and Auto Climate are available across the range, a new electrical architecture brings driver assistance enhancements, more recycled materials (carpets), the arrival of the 'Bang & Olufsen for Bentley,' plus additional connected car, air quality, and creature comfort features.

But the list didn't stop there – a new derivative called Bentayga model 'A' was also on the update sheet, along with fresh 21-inch multi-spoke wheels available in three different finishes, the Bentayga Styling Specification for the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase, or seven new satin nuances for the body. And just when you thought that was all, Bentley doesn't stop and takes another page out of the art car category with its exclusive 'Belonging Bentayga' that was handcrafted with one primary goal in its sights – celebrate inclusion.

That's part of the Bentley Beyond100 strategy's milestone list, by the way, as the plan includes diversity and inclusion ambitions – today, the British company employs a workforce consisting of 52 nationalities who create cars sold across 67 different countries. Seen as the "next step in its mission to become the most diverse luxury car manufacturer in the world," Bentley asked architectural artist Stephen Wiltshire, MBE, to design and hand-paint an Alpine Green Bentayga Hybrid with different skylines and well-known buildings from around the world.

The sights include views from New York, London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Venice, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, with each side of the car allocated to a different continent. Interestingly, this is a more considerable feat than one would imagine – the carmaker says the art car displays 29 different landmarks that were all "drawn from memory by Stephen Wiltshire, a British architectural artist, and autistic savant, who is known for his ability to draw a landscape after seeing it just once."

Additionally, this unique Bentayga was hand-painted through a bespoke process developed by the Bentley Excellence Centre Bespoke Paint team. As for the people seen on the car, those are of various "nationalities of the world united in one design." This Bentley Bentayga is the third art car "unveiled by the company to mark its commitment to diversity," with the other two being the 'Unifying Spur' created by Bentley designer Rich Morris, who is also a painter and sculptor when off-duty, as well as the rainbow-inspired Continental GT V8 Convertible launched with pride during the summer of 2020.

In the end, "the message that the unique and striking imagery of the Belonging Bentayga sends is that no matter where you live, you belong," says Wayne Bruce, Chief Communications and D&I Officer.
