Most of us have heard of Super73, that extravagant e-bike brand that's been brewing up a storm in the urban cycling world. Well, in light of the Oppenheimer movie, this manufacturer has spun up a special version that's unlike any other e-bike you'll see in the neighborhood.
Folks, in light of the recent blockbusters Oppenheimer and Barbie, the e-bike brand Super73 is on point with two unique versions to help you zip around town while brandishing your love for one of these movies. You've already met the Barbie ZX, and now, it's time for the big blast, the WWII-like Oppenheimer EV.

If you've seen the recent blockbuster, then you may have some idea of what to expect from the Oppenheimer edition. Suppose you don't, be sure to check out the image gallery. Actually, do make an effort to see the picture we've selected so that you can understand what we're in for.

Now, Super73 has had its fingers in the Hollywood pie for years now, supplying magic to folks like Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, and JoJo Siwa. So it was only a matter of time until their bikes would be seen in movies. A scene in the Barbie flick showcases a Super73 machine, but not in Oppenheimer. After all, e-bikes are a very modern piece of hardware.

And that's just it! While the e-bike is a modern vehicle, the styling that Super73 has adapted for the Oppenheimer edition is on a whole new level. As a backbone, the S2 is used to craft this version, and that means quite a whole lot for future interested buyers.

For example, the S2 is considered Super73's "Iconic Urban Cruiser," capable of a max range of 120 km (74.5 mi) and sporting a 250 W motor (EU version). A suspension fork, large rounded tires, and a cafe racer-like seat are sure to add comfort to the mix. Priced at €4,000 ($4,400 at current exchange rates), it better be comfortable.

All that leads us to the Oppenheimer S2, an EV with a whole lot going on. So to make things a bit easier to understand, let's start from the ground and work our way upward. First off, take in those massive motorcycle-like tires. They match beautifully with an all-black fork, that military green frame color, and the overall visual appeal of the bike.

As for that frame, it is important to note that Super73 added a few features to help this puppy scream WWII. Not only do the fenders bring some of that military appeal, but the frame also hides a side-panel rack onto which you can add an array of gear. For now, that green sachel is present.

At the rear of the bike, Super73 brings even more old-school magic. Here, leather is the name of the game, and we can spot two pannier bags that look beaten and battered as if you've been riding through a warzone; some neighborhoods are. The seat only completes the whole vintage feel.

Finally, I want to bring your attention to the battery pack mounted on the top tube of this S2. If I hadn't known that the original S2 also uses a top tube-mounted battery pack, I would have been left amazed at this feature. Alas, all that amazed me here was the whole vintage look that this feature brings to the rest of the bike. The white stars jump off of a forest green paint job, and the S73 can be spotted, telling the whole neighborhood what you're riding.

As for the cockpit, here, too, we can find some attention to detail. The handlebar is nice and curves, simulating the whole motorcycle feel, and a rounded headlight brings back memories of old-school motorcycles too. Leather grips are used to complete this version.

Now, I want you to take a moment to picture yourself owning such a machine. Wake up on Monday morning, have breakfast, and head to the garage to load up your electrified road hog for the journey to the office. On the way home, why not pick up some groceries and shake the OJ with some speed bumps?

Just be aware of one effect, the same that this bike had on me, its ability to turn heads. Best of all, once those heads start turning, you'll probably be stopped and asked a whole lot of questions as to where you got it, how much it cost, and where they can get one too. The answer to all those questions will be answered the moment you get in touch with Super73.

Look, I'll be honest. I haven't always been a big fan of Super73 machines, but this edition has changed all my perceived notions of the brand and what they can pull off. That said, I'll be eagerly awaiting the next big and bold design to come out from under the Super73 umbrella. I wonder what blockbuster will inspire the next hot design. Only time will tell.
