Brake calipers with a livery are the latest trend in the aftermarket world and we're here to bring you a new example of this, one that tends to have a delicious touch.
The Banana color scheme you see in the image above is complete with the blue label we've seen in supermarkets. More importantly, car aficionados will recognize the Brembo trolling here, which we have to admit is mildly amusing.

We can say the same about the theme altogether, since anybody who's played Mario Kart knows how slippery a banana can be when you're behind the wheel. Heck, we've even seen supercar owners struggling to go through a banana encounter.

With the pic landing on Reddit, a few people rushed to mention the idea above, but even if the words "brakes" and "slippery" shouldn't be placed in the same sentence, we'll use the opportunity to remind you that this hardware isn't installed on the car just to kill your speed.

This brings us to one of our favorite quotes, which comes from former F1 driver Mario Andretti: “It is amazing how many drivers, even at the Formula One level, think that the brakes are for slowing the car down.

The racing driver was, of course, talking about the manner in which you can affect a vehicle's handling balance by using the stopping pedal, but this is another story for another time.

Many people who come across such details on a car are tempted to point their fingers at the owner for spending time on such color play. But, as we said in the intro, there's an entire subculture dedicated to such visual tricks and, if anything, it comes to show how much certain enthusiasts love their rides, even if we're not talking about the kind of 1,000 hp monsters that would make any driver interested.
