We’ve known for a few months now that Lamborghini has some serious expansion plans with the Anvetador, as three new models will debut within the next couple of years.
The first will be the Roadster or Spyder convertible with a removable carbon fiber roof. Next up, Lamborghini is going to make a four-seater “GT” version, which according to Car Magazine will be shown at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, which starts in March.

It might seem farfetched, but McLaren is also working on a GT supercar based on the MP4. The Aventador GT will off course be shown in concept form first, to judge customer’s reactions before it’s put into production.

The Aventador GT will of course be powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 engine with 700 PS (690 hp), which for the 2013 model year has received cylinder deactivation and stop-start.

In case you haven’t figured it out, the third Aventador model will be the SuperVeloce or “SV” for short. Many technical revisions will be made to transform it into a better handling machine.
