I know a lot of fellows who simply hate to ride in the rain, mostly because they're not exactly comfortable with the reduced grip.
They avoid riding in the wet even during the summer, so you can imagine the terror when it comes to riding in the colder seasons.
Now, even I took a silly fall on the wet autumn asphalt, with my rear wheel sliding to one side all of a sudden, because of a very slippery patch of decomposing leaves into a turn. However, it looks like this Birmingham scooter rider sucked even more that I did, as the unlucky chap loses control of the bike in a straight line.
Glad to see he's alright, just as I was back then. And I expect him to ride more carefully from now on, just like it happened to me.
