The Audi TT was never supposed to be a proper performance vehicle, being seen rather as a mild-performance sports car that didn’t necessarily attract buyers through its dynamics. Don’t get us wrong, the TT was never slow, but it didn’t pass as a true performer either. We have to mention that certain units of the vehicle did manage to make even supercars cry, but these happened with the help of tuners.
However, Audi decided to change the game last year, introducing the TT RS coupe and cabriolet models, which really come to offer a bouquet of top dynamic-sourced feelings and emotions. The RS badge means that your TT is powered by a turbocharged 2.5 liter five-cylinder unit that allows you to play with 340 hp and a peak torque of 332 lb-ft (450 Nm).
As you can imagine, the new output wasn’t enough for aftermarket developers, which started coming up with their own versions of the vehicle. Today, we are willing to show you the freshest TT RS (roadster) modification kit on the market.
The project uses the POWER TT name and has been created by the German company Senner Tuning. The package includes engine, rims & suspension, interior and exterior tweaks.
The vehicle’s engine has been gifted with a performance air filter, a sports exhaust system and an ECU remap, being boosted to 430 hp. The tuner has fitted the vehicle with a lowering suspension, as well as with a set of 20-inch Varianza T1S rims, with the wheels using 255/30 tires.
The exterior of the car has received multiple carbon fiber elements, including mirror housings and a rear wing, while the interior received a trimming that uses the same material.
Our say: Dear TT, please excuse us, we're currently fascinated by the brand-new, same-engined RS3, and so we're waiting to see what tuners are cooking for the hot hatch.
