If we’d like to work for an automotive producer this week, it would have to be Audi. That’s because the Germans must be throwing a party these days, thanks to the fact that their A3 Sedan has just received the Golden Steering Wheel accolade.
The award saw a total of 49 candidates battle it out this year, with the A3 Sedan topping the Middle Class category. The vehicles were assessed by a panel of experts, together with the readers of Auto Bild and Bild am Sonntag.
In the 38-year history of the award, Audi has taken 23 of these steering wheels to its home in Ingolstadt. As for the A3 Sedan, this managed to impress through its “technology, everyday suitability and comfort.”
Now that the A3 Sedan has demonstrated it can impress Europeans, we’re waiting to see what it can do on the US market - Audi has recently announced its introduction in America in 2014.
