The upcoming Paris Auto Show will see the Audi A1 receive quite a few novelties, with all of them targeting the sports & performance segment.

In addition to the previously announced 185 hp 1.4 liter TFSI engine, the event will also see the German company debut the A1 Competition kit and the S-Line package for the car.

The Competition Kit brings a more aggressive front fascia, chromed accents for the front grille, new lightweight alloy rims that use a two-tone finish, as well as multiple “heritage” vinyls inspired by Walter Rohl’s legendary Audi Quattro. If you choose to add this list of goodies to your A1, be prepared to spend EUR1,865 on it.

The German automotive producer will also gift the A1 with the Competition Kit Legends interior package that brings redesigned ventilation nozzles, a new rear-view mirror, modified door handles and special floor mats. The price of the Competition Kit Legends is EUR670.

As we said, the event will also see the S-Line package for the A1 being presented. This has a price of EUR1,900 and will be available for sale in the following months. Ticking this box on the list of optional extras will bring lots of goodies for your A1. The list of interior and exterior enhancement includes new alloy rims that come in a 17 inch size, modified front and rear fascias, extended side skirts, multiple S-Line badges, a leather finish for the new sport seats, steering wheels and handbrake, as well as new trimming.

However, the big news we've all been waiting for is the introduction of the Audi S1, but the company has issued no statement related to this.

autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
