Aston Martin BeoSound Rapide Detailed

Every Aston Martin model in the market is now available with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, custom made and sound tuned for each model, thanks to the introduction of the BeoSound Rapide system, especially designed for the new four-door Aston Martin Rapide sports car.

The system features 15 active speakers and a total amplifier power of more than 1,000 watts, based on Bang & Olufsen’s proprietary technology ICEpower.

The Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Rapide design, which builds on the already known concepts from the BeoSound DBS, DB9 and Vantage, matches the new sports car’s interior, with aluminum loudspeaker grilles that “integrate seamlessly into the hand crafted interior.”

It is able to detect the number of passengers in the car and automatically adjust the sound focus accordingly. The system recognizes where passengers are sitting in the car according to which seatbelts are being used.
