It seems that being that being overly-courageous (and a bit mad, frankly) is a common trait among Russian grannies, who seem to have a complete disregard for their own safety. Now, after having shown you the granny who cuts right through a busy intersection, without a second though, we bring you an even more extreme case.
This particular granny has chosen a very improper place to walk home, carrying two bags of groceries - the highway! She is just walking along, as if it were a sidewalk, exposing herself to certain death with each car that passes. If the highway was, in fact her way home, she could have hitchhiked, or simply walked carefully along the outer edge of the road, but not in one of the lanes, close to its middle.
We hope she made it home safely, but we can’t really state that as a fact, as she was, just walking on the highway!
