Anderson Germany Creates Naughty Focus RS With 420 HP

If you didn’t manage to buy a limited edition Ford Focus RS500 before they all went to their rightful and very lucky owners, then Anderson Germany can provide you with their own idea of what a Focus with too much power should be like.

It’s called the Ford Focus RS “Black Racing Edition”, it's... black, and it comes with 420 horsepower that goes straight to those meaty front tire, but it's a bit austentacious, vulgar and... you don’t care, do you? Neither do we!

Anderson Germany's version of the RS uses the same bodykit from the production model spiced up with a different set of alloy wheels, painted black with a red edge. In our opinion, these look even better than what Ford dreamt up in their front wheel drive performance dreams.

The black with a bit of red theme is also carried over to the interior, where the RS boasts a pair of black leather bucket seats with matching red stitching, carbon fiber trim on the center console, steering wheel, gearshift and handbrake levers, plus alcantara lining on the door panels and the central tunnel.

The tuner’s most impressive feat of customization is the fact that it squeezed out an impressive, and honestly a bit frightening, 420 horsepower out of the 2.5-liter five-cyinder engine we all know and love. That’s an impressive 70 horsepower more than the RS500. Hothatch lovers should keep in mind that unlike the Subaru Impreza WRX STI the Focus is still a front-wheel drive car.

Unfortunately, we can’t put a price on fast-Ford perfection, as the German tuner has not revealed it, nor the official acceleration figures.
