Let’s get one thing straight, we think this boat has some really cool livery and a lot of room. But we dislike it because while we have heard of Ferrari or Lamborghini powered boats, this isn’t an AMG powered craft.
The Black Series 50' Marauder Cigarette boat is inspired from the C63 AMG Black Series. It’s got a big ‘AMG’ logo painted on the side and does look like the perfect craft to hoon about Miami Vice style. But it’s actually powered by a couple of Mercury Racing engines that generate 1350 hp each.
If we were to use actual C63 engines, we would need about five of them to get that sort of power. This vehicle is a result of the alliance between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing took, and was shown for the first time at the 2012 Miami Boat Show last week.
